Stefanie Sun Yan Zi is a Singaporean singer-songwriter with 11 albums under her belt. Dubbed as the most successful singer from Singapore, Sun has written her own history in entertainment industry. Since her debut in 2000, Sun has sold more than 10 million copies throughout Asia, marking her status as one of the most accomplished artists in Asia.
Being
a perfectionist herself, she once stated that ‘clever singers do not rush into
productions because quality does matter when releasing an album’ putting
negative criticisms to rest. Her first two-days Taiwan concerts were sold out
in 46 minutes after tickets went on sale three months before the concerts.
Despite her tight schedules, Sun has been active in charity works as a
volunteer and spokesperson. With her clean image, Sun is an idol too many
including young people who dream of becoming a singer.
