SUBANG INTERNATIONAL AIR CARNIVAL
The Subang International Air Carnival 2014 (SIAC 2014) scheduled for June 12-15 at the Skypark Regional Aviation Centre, Section U3, Shah Alam will provide a family-oriented aerospace experience to visitors. Organised by F&R Exhibition and Conference Sdn Bhd in partnership with the Skypark Regional Aviation Centre, it is themed “Transforming Malaysia’s Aerospace Education & Career Opportunities”.
F&R Exhibition and Conference managing director Syed Mohammed Feisal Syed Hussain said over 40 aviation companies and exhibitors, local and regional flying clubs, local universities, and government agencies would be taking part in the carnival. “It is aimed at turning Malaysia into a regional aviation hub by laying out opportunities in the aviation industry.
It will also help raise awareness on the role of the Malaysian Armed Forces,” he said at the launch of the SIAC 2014 logo by Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi, here Thursday. He said the air carnival would showcase aerobatic displays and a dedicated static display area for business aviation aircraft and helicopters. Admission tickets are priced at RM15 for adults, children between seven and 17 (RM10) while children below seven (free of charge).
Syed Mohammed Feisal said by-invitation-only guests would get an exclusive viewing of private and business aircraft at the SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre, the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang. They are made up of high-net-worth individuals invited by super-luxury car makers from Malaysia and the region, he added.
